misterfootballfanatic.blogspot.com had a great year and has just calculated the exact, and documented figures from the 2009 football season's selections, please see below;
10/3/09 - College Lock of the Week - Mich St +2 at home vs. Mich. Won 26-20
10/17/09 - College Lock of the Week - VT -3.5 @ GT. Lost 23-28
12/6/09 - NFL Lock of the Week - NYG +3 at home vs Dallas. Won 31-24
1/10/10 - Playoff Double Down - Ari +3 at home vs GB. Won 51-45
1/16/10 - Playoff Double Down - INDY/BAL UNDER 40.5. Won 17-3
1/17/10 - Playoff Double Down - NYJ + 8 at SD. Won 17-14
Therefore, misterfootballfanatic.blogspot.com went 5-1 ATS on plays that should have been played at double the normal play amount.
Went 92-43-2 on the season (68.15%), not bad. But when factoring in the double unit plays, the numbers are 97-44-2 for an astounding 71.85% on the year!!!
And, this was all for FREE! I'm just getting warmed up. Call a 900# and pay for their plays, you won't get the kind of results misterfootballfanatic.blogspot.com is providing, and there's no charge! 900# plays can cost you, in more ways than one.
I remember in the 1980's, when I called one of those guys, and they had given me a few single unit plays in a row that won. Then, they tell me to "BET THE HOUSE" on the Vikings vs the Bears (I was already liking Chicago, but they are the experts, right?) I lost my ass that day after betting 10 times my normal play on the Vikings, when I liked the Bears(fortunately I kept my house) but I lost more than I had won the previous three plays, almost like they were setting me up for a big loss and it wouldn't be just me, all of their customers. I also learned a big lesson. NEVER pay for a selection on a game unless you trust the source, and even then, pay cheap.
I have developed multiple systems, trends and variables over the years and I have not paid for another selection since that one. That was over 25 years ago and I've learned to trust my instincts and systems, etc.
It's nice to collect, not pay, several times a year. That's another thing, money management. If you get on a winning streak and have enough winnings to cash out and play on their money, DO IT. I did it three times in the 2009 season. It's a great feeling to get your money back and play on theirs, then collect actual winnings!
Stick with me and my selections and over the long haul, you'll win more than you lose, I guarantee it. Early last year, I was barely over .500. Then, I got hot after I had a better feel for the teams. Free agency, coaching changes, among other things, got me off to a bumpy start.
After that, I caught fire! From 10/18/09 through the College Bowl Season and NFL playoffs, misterfootballfanatic.blogspot.com went a documented 78-30-2! I would bet that not too many professional (or otherwise) handicappers can match that.
Hope to have you back reading my sports selections next season, it's been a fun, and winning ride.

misterfootballfanatic.blogspot.com wishes everyone a healthy and prosperous 2010! I've had a lot of fun this year, doing my homework and giving it my all to provide free winners for my devoted readers/followers. I think I've done more homework before providing my picks for this blog than I ever did when I was just betting. I have more than tripled what I started with at the beginning of the year, it's been a fun ride.
Although I haven't went through all year and calculated exact figures yet, I'm pretty sure that I've went 75% or better on the season, I'm very happy about that. Also, I didn't have many losing days. I plan on providing exact figures sometime after the Super Bowl, is that on today???...............:)
Okay, to the game that kicks at 5:25 CST on the Super Bowl Sunday. What a match-up, the Indianapolis Colts vs. the New Orleans Saints! P. Manning vs. Drew Brees. I haven't heard anyone say it, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time two Dome Teams have met in the Super Bowl. Ironic that it's being played outdoors, in Miami.
Speaking of being in Miami, the Colts won the Super Bowl in Miami a few years ago against the Bears. This means that they are familiar with the Media days, how it all works leading up to the Big Game, etc. Either 17 or 19 players on Indy have played in a Super Bowl, 4 Saints have played in one. This is a big advantage for the Colts.
However, I predict that the crowd will be backing the underdog Saints. New Orleans is closer to Miami than Indianapolis and the crowd with no rooting interest usually pulls for the underdog. Plus, you've got the Katrina factor, the Saints have never even been to a Super Bowl before, they used to be the called the "Aints".
The last two Super Bowls, the dog covered and the winning team took the lead with exactly the same amount of time on the clock, 35 seconds! That's amazing. Last year Pitt beat Arizona but didn't cover at the favorite. The year before, the Giants as the underdog, beat the undefeated Patriots.
Anyway, even though my heart wants the Saints to win, my brain says Peyton Manning and the Colts. Another factor is the weather. I heard it's 10-15 mph with wind gusts into the 20's. This could affect both passing games. On to the predictions.
Take the UNDER 57. Per the windy weather and everyone I've seen thinks 58 or more will be scored, so I don't think that will happen. Look for New Orleans to run more than the Colts (the Saints were 6th in the NFL in rushing yards, so figure). Prediction Indy 27, Saints 24.
Take Indy on the Money line to win the game. I don't trust them to cover, the Saints are a great story and almost everyone wants them to win, so I don't trust them. They almost lost to Minnesota two weeks ago and the Vikings gave them the ball 6 TIMES! It still took overtime for the Saints to win that game, the Vikings had 200 more yards that the Saints. I look for Manning and the Colts to find a way to win. Like above, I predict Indy 27, Saints 24.
Good luck everyone, it's been a fun ride (Can't wait 'til next year.........) By the way, let's see a good game and if you have to drive after tonight's game, please find a designated driver or be very safe in your travels.
