Okay, Football lovers, I've found my LOCK OF THE WEEK! Play triple your normal amount on it. We are going to make a big comeback today in the NFL, last week 3-0 ATS in the NFL. On to today's Lock of the Week, and other plays.

LOCK OF THE WEEK PLAY - Take BUFF/KC UNDER 44. The last 8 times these team have met, they are 7-1 UNDER! Buffalo has went OVER several games in a row, the UNDER is due. Prediction, Buff 17, KC 14.

DOUBLE DOWN PLAY - Take Oakland - 1.5 at home vs. Seattle. Oakland is 5-0 ATS the last five home to Seattle and 7-3 ATS vs the Seahawks overall. 'Da Raiders are playing much better lately, coming off a drubbbing of the Broncos, they ran all over them and did what they wanted. The Seahawks have only won once on the road this year, and it will still be one win after today's loss to Oakland. Prediction Oakland 27, Seattle 20.

Take Buffalo +7.5 at KC. Buffalo is averaging nearly 30 points a game since Ryan Fitzpatrick took over as the starting QB for Buffalo. The Bills are 8-2 ATS the last ten games vs. KC. KC's defense is 25th in the NFL in passing defense. The Bills may win this game. Prediction Buffalo 17, KC 14.

Apparently, Auburn and Oregon are for real and probably are the best two teams in the country today. I was rooting for BCS chaos, I want a playoff, but Ole Miss and USC couldn't keep up with the aforementioned top dogs in NCAA. Kansas State blew it, missing a field goal to start the second half, being tied at halftime with Oklahoma State, then at the end of the game, a WR dropped a would be first down near midfield, still trying to win the game, or at least cover, on fourth down (one TD would have covered). At least my Air Force came through. Let's get 'em back today after a 1-3 ATS Saturday, making my record 23-14-2 (25-14-2) when you factor in two DOUBLE DOWN plays that won, still good, but extra time is going into this NFL Sunday's selections). Check back before kickoff for today's winners! Sincerely, misterfootballfanatic.blogspot.com

misterfootballfanatic keeps on winning after a 3-0 NFL Sunday last week. This makes the record for the season a whopping 23-11-2 (25-11-2, when factoring in two DOUBLE DOWN plays that won). Keep following this blog and win money with these FREE WINNERS!

GOTTA LOVE COLLECTING, NOT PAYING, THE MAN...............On to today's selections this Saturday, 10/30/10.

Take USC +7 at home vs. Oregon. USC is not bowl eligible due to the Reggie Bush infractions, this is their bowl game. QB Barkley is one of the nation's best for USC and they are 5-2 ATS the last seven vs. the Ducks. I look for USC's ground game to keep the ball away from Oregon a little but it should be a shootout. Prediction USC 37, Oregon 34.

Take Kansas State +5 at home vs. Oklahoma St. K St. is 5-2 SU the last seven vs. Ok St and is 5-1 ATS their last six vs. Ok St. Prediction Kansas St. 27, Oklahoma St. 24.

Take Mississippi +7 at home vs. Auburn. Auburn has been tied or trailing in the fourth quarter four times this year. The Tigers have had to fight hard to get where they are at. Mississippi's QB played for Oregon and transferred to Ole Miss after losing the starting job. He's getting more acclimated to Ole Miss' system and they have been playing better lately. I look for Auburn to lose and make it four #1's in a row to lose on the road the week after being ranked #1. Prediction Mississippi 30, Auburn 27.

Take Air Force +7 at home vs. Utah. Air Force is 5-1 ATS their last six vs. Utah. Utah may get caught looking ahead to their showdown with undefeated TCU next week, they are in a typical "sandwich" situation, possibly overlooking AF. Prediction Air Force 24, Utah 20.

What a BAD BEAT with Michigan State just trying to run a play to run out the clock up by one, Northwestern was out of time-outs and it was third down. Two missed tackles later, Michigan State scores a touchdown, that actually gave NW a chance to win by going up 8 and they got the ball back. But, NW +6 was burnt, this after NW was up 17-0 getting six points at home in the first half. Michigan State also had a fake punt for a key first down. Anyway, went 0-1-1 on Saturday, making misterfootballfanatic 20-11-2 on the season (22-11-2) when factoring in the two DOUBLE DOWN plays that won earlier this year. On to today's selections that I feel very good about.

Take NE/SD UNDER 48.5. The past three times these two teams met, it went UNDER the total. The UNDER is 8-2-1 the past 11 games where NE played the AFC West. On top of that, San Diego has the #1 rated defense and they are hurting on offense. Malcolm Floyd is Doubtful, Antonio Gates is doubtful, #2 WR Naanee is out. I like NE to barely win, but the play is the UNDER. Prediction NE 24, SD 20.

Take Buffalo +14 at Baltimore. Buffalo has averaged 28.5 points a game since QB Ryan Fitzgerald took over at QB. The Bills are 6-2-1 ATS after a BYE, which they had last week, so they also had two weeks to prepare for this one. Another thing, the Bills have not covered the spread yet this year! They are due. When these two team meet, it's usually a low scoring game, with the last four going UNDER the total, which I like, but the play here is Buffalo. Prediction Baltimore 20, Buffalo 17.

Take Cleveland +14 at New Orleans. Believe it or not, Cleveland is 7-2 SU all time at New Orleans! Plus, Cleveland is 7-2 ATS their last 9 vs NO as a dog. They have also won the last two times they played there. New Orleans beat Division rival TB last week, and plays Pitt next week, this is a trap (or sandwich) game for the Saints. I look for the Saints to sort of overlook the Browns. Prediction New Orleans 27, Cleveland 20.

After a 1-1 ATS Saturday and a 2-1 ATS Sunday (should have been 3-0, the Jets go lucky), misterfootballfanatic went 3-2 ATS last weekend. This makes the season's record at 20-10-1 (22-10-1 when factoring in two DOUBLE DOWN plays that both won). On to today's selections, this Saturday, October 23, 2010.

Take NW +6 at home vs. Michigan State. Last year NW knocked off top ranked Iowa at home, they just keep getting better with former player, now coach, Ken Fitzgerald. NW is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. Mich St. Prediction NW 30, Mich St 24.

Take Colorado +4 at home vs. Texas Tech. Colorado is 4-1 ATS in their last five vs. TT and they are at home. Prediction Colorado 37, TT 31.

After going 3-1 ATS last week and 1-1 ATS yesterday, misterfootballfanatic is 17-8-1 ATS on the season, 19-8-1 when factoring in the two DOUBLE DOWN plays that won. On to today's selections, this Sunday, 10/17/10.

Take New Orleans -4 at TB. NO is 6-2 ATS their last 8 trips to Tampa. NO has not covered the spread the last four games, they are due. Plus Tampa has only one loss on the season, hard to believe. I don't see Tampa increasing their lead on the Saints by winning today and the Bucs are 1-4 ATS their last five at home in October. Prediction New Orleans 30, Tampa Bay 20.

Take Detroit +10.5 at NYG. It is a typical sandwich game for the Giants, coming off a big road win at Houston and playing at Dallas next week, they should be overlooking the Lions. Detroit is 4-1 ATS their last five at NYG and they are playing much better lately with SF cast off Shaun Hill at QB. SF let the wrong QB go, but that's another story. Prediction NYG 27, Detroit 23.

Take Denver +3.5 at home vs. the NYJ. The Jets are coming off the big MNF win at home vs. the Vikings, but they nearly blew it because the Vikings could throw on them with Revis banged up. All Denver does is throw. The Jets are 1-10 SU and ATS their last 11 October road games and could get caught looking ahead to their Bye next week after playing on a short week and traveling to Mile High. Prediction Denver 20, NYJ 17.

Last week, misterfootballfanatic went 1-0 ATS on Saturday and 2-1 ATS on Sunday for a 3-1 weekend. For the season, 16-7-1 ATS and 18-7-1 ATS when factoring in the two DOUBLE DOWN plays that both won. On to today's selections this Saturday, 10/16/10.

Take Virginia +7 at home vs. North Carolina. North Carolina has all kinds of suspensions and off the field distractions, plus, they are on the road to a team that always gives them fits. Virginia is 5-0 ATS the last five at home vs. North Carolina and 11-1 ATS vs. North Carolina the last eleven times they have met. Virginia has NC's number and upsets North Carolina. Prediction Virginia 27, North Carolina 24.

Take Hawaii +7 at home to Nevada. Nevada is going on vacation, playing at Hawaii, and had to travel thousands of miles to get there. The underdog in this series has covered the spread the last four times these teams met. It will be a shootout, I like Hawaii to at least cover, maybe win. Prediction Hawaii 48, Nevada 45.

Another winning day, 1-0 ATS yesterday, 14-6-1 ATS on the year and 16-6-1 on the year when factoring in the 2-0 ATS DOUBLE DOWN releases. Oregon State +8 won SU 29-27 on Saturday. On to today's selections.

Take TB +7 at Cincinnati. Tampa Bay has won the last five times they have played the Bengals SU! Couple that with TB being 6-2 ATS the last 8 coming off a bye and Ochocinco is banged up and may not play. The Bengals lost to Cleveland last week and has a bye next week. I expect the Bengals to overlook the Bucs, looking ahead to their bye next week. Tampa will double Owens with Ochocinco and Shipley out. Also, Cedric Benson's solid back-up, Bernard Scott will probably not play, so Benson will get tired (if their offense is on the field). Tampa also had two weeks to prepare for this game, coming off a bye last week. They may win outright again, but I'll say they barely lose. Prediction, Cin 23, TB 20.

Take NO -7 at Arizona. M. Hall is starting at QB for Arizona. The Saints are 5-1 their last 6 at Arizona and the Cards are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 before a bye, which they have next week. Bottom line, the Saints are much better at almost every position than the Cards. Prediction, New Orleans 30, Arizona 10.

Take Indy -7 at home vs. the Chiefs. Yes, the Chiefs are 3-0, but two of the three wins were over the 1 win Cleveland Browns and the winless 49ers. They other win was opening day at home vs. the Chargers. Indy lost last week on a last second 59 yard field goal at Jax, who always gives the Colts fits. The Colts are coming home, and they are pissed, needing a win bad. I see the Colts loading the box to slow the Chiefs running game, forcing Matt Cassell to beat them. Peyton Manning is, well, Peyton Manning. Indy is 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS vs KC since 1990. The Chiefs come back down to Earth. Prediction, Indy 31, KC 17.

Another weekend, more winners. After a 2-1 ATS Sunday, misterfootballfanatic.blogspot.com is 13-6-1 (15-6-1) when factoring in two DOUBLE DOWN plays that both won. Let's keep up the winning with today's play, this Saturday, 10-9-10.

Take Oregon State +8 at Arizona. Coach Mike Riley of O. St is one of the best coaches in the Pac 10. Oregon State is 9-2 ATS the last 11 vs. Arizona. Arizona is improved, but not enough to blow out Oregon State. Prediction Arizona 27, Oregon State 24.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!?! Coming into this Sunday's NFL games, 10/2/10, misterfootballfanatic is a very nice 11-5-1 (13-5-1 when you factor in the two DOUBLE DOWN plays a couple weeks ago) against the spread this year! Let's keep it going with the following free winners for today's games.

Take Baltimore +3 at Pitt. I know, the Steelers have looked great and they are playing without Roethlisberger. However, do you really think they will go 4-0 starting their 2nd, 3rd and 4th string QB's? I don't and here's why. Pitt has beaten Atlanta at home week 1, then a nice win on the road against Vince Young at Tennessee, then they blew out a bad TB team. Their 4th string QB, Charlie Batch is going up against a very good Baltimore defense and Pitt is looking forward to next week's bye week, then getting Roethlisberger back. Baltimore will put 8 in the box and stop the run, forcing Charlie Batch to beat them, sorry, I don't see it. Prediction Baltimore 16, Pitt 13.

Take Arizona +9.5 at SD. San Diego is still without their starting left tackle, McNeil and WR Vincent Jackson. Plus, SD always starts slow, especially since Coach Norv Turner took over. Here's a little tidbit for you, Arizona is 4-0 ATS the last four times they played at San Diego. And, the road team in this series is 7-1 ATS. I like SD to win, but not by 10 or more. Prediction SD 27, Arizona 24.

Take Washington +6 at Philly. I saved the most anticipated game of the year so far for last, but not least. McNabb and Washington will be fired up for this divisional rivalry, especially with McNabb coming back to town. McNabb knows their playbook and Shanahan can coach. Washington is also 5-2 ATS the last 7 at Philly coming in to this game. All the hype on Vick is a bit overrated since Vick has beaten Detroit and Jacksonville (big deal). The Redskins are much better than both of those teams. Prediction Washington wins outright. Wash 24, Philly 20.

Alright football lovers, I'm back! Sorry about last week not being out here, I was on a 12 day sabbatical with my lovely wife of 30 years, Mrs. Football Fanatic. I had no Internet and read no newspapers the whole time, but we had a blast at Bealle Street in Memphis, then many nights on the Ocean at Myrtle Beach.

On to today's NCAA selection, this Saturday, 10/2/2010.

Take Alabama -8 vs. Florida. Florida has a FR QB and a young team. Alabama is coming home off a narrow victory, coming from behind on the road against Arkansas. Florida has been winning, but not like the old Florida. Prediction Alabama 37, Florida 17.
